Keeping things on the Straight and Narrow
About once a month the staff at our store heads to this website to download the latest and greatest laser files. We do this for a couple of reasons. The first is that product is introduced a number of times throughout the year and we want to be ready for that fresh inventory. Secondly mistakes are made from time to time. Just the other day I opened a file that someone had saved over a custom design. It's important to know that every time you scan from the book the file that pops up matches the image in the book and is lined up and ready to go. January Trade Shows
I spoke to a number of store owner/operators at the Atlanta and Dallas Gift Marts. For those that did not get a chance to get to the marts, here is a quick rundown of what we are working on.
- New Product
- There is a large collection of new product that will be available to ship in April. Keep a look out for order forms. There are a number of children's toys, whistles, shape sorters, etc. Additionally we have some nice home decor pieces, music boxes, frames, candle holders, metal bookmarks, and much more. I'm keen on the new candles with the wooden lids. Valued anywhere between $9.99 and $14.99, your cost will be about a $1.
- We have a new addition to our support team. Alex Troyer will be giving you a call over the next month to check and and see if there is any need for a "tune up." Alex started with us last fall and took to lasering like a fish to water. We are pleased to make him a permanent addition to our team.
- Dealer Conference 2010 with Tony Evans - March 23 & 24
- Every year P. Graham Dunn puts on a Dealer Conference to roll out new product and to give our dealers an opportunity to experience the community in which our product is made in. Dr. Tony Evans will be our keynote speaker and we will also put on a Laser University. If you can make it out, it surely will not disappoint. Jerry will be publishing a full list of classes soon, and it is all free. We're ready to blow the lid off this year!
- Tag Me!
- Coming soon is a new software that makes it even easier to engrave. If you are not the most comfortable on a computer, this is the software for you. We ran a demo at the gift marts and expect to have a working copy of it in the next couple of months. You can even use this new software with a touchscreen monitor!
- And Much, Much More!!!

Religious Clip Art
Some operators have requested a file that was available during training class at P. Graham Dunn with various crosses. I've uploaded a file that has some symbols on it. Feel free to open the file, and add each to your symbol library. Click here to download the file. If you are unsure how to add something to the symbol library, here is a tutorial video.

Laser Demo Video
Uploaded the laser demo video. This can be played using Windows Media Player on your laser computer when you are not running, to show the process to your customers.

Two More Laser Videos
We've just added two more laser training videos. One focuses on the various text attributes that can be changed and gives a demonstration of the options under the rapido button. The other video covers the use of the text in a rectangle tool and how that can be used to quickly change the text on an elaborate sign. Click here to see all the laser videos.

All files have been tested/aligned on a new laser
It's taken a bit of time, but we have just completed testing and re-aligning all laser files. If you've had trouble with any files in the past, please download the latest version here. If you have aligned some files yourself, we do not reccomend overwriting those with the new files, there is no advantage to doing this. This update is only for any files you may be having trouble with.

LaserGifts poster available for download
We now have a laser poster available for download and printing at your local print shop. Sized at 45"w x 22"h, this was done at the suggestion of one of our laser centers. File size is 20MB, so it may take a bit to download, depending on your connection speed.

These can be filled out by your customers to make large/complicated text layouts much easier for you and your staff.
